In this beginner English Paper Piecing (EPP) class, we will learn how to use non-traditional methods to achieve great results with hand-sewing.

Instructor Andrea Verley will show how to glue-baste fabric to paper pieces and then use a “flat back” stitch to sew hexagonal pieces together for a brilliant result that minimizes stitch visibility on the front.

We will create a flower shape, which can serve as the beginning block to an amazing quilt, sewn to a canvas bag or framed as lovely decor!

All supplies (needle, thread, scissors, fabric, EPP papers, glue) for this class will be provided. If you would like to bring your own fabric, please bring:

(1) 2-1/2 inch by 24 inch strip of fabric OR (7) 2-1/2-inch fabric squares

Don’t forget your favorite beverage and sense of adventure!

Our Wellness Precautions: We are easily able to provide lots of distancing between students for this class, are sanitizing the space and tools between guests, and have a medical grade HEPA air filtration machine in place.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at the shop: (740) 901-3041.
