Learn English Paper Piecing
Thu October 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm| $45.00
Create beautiful designs that can grow and grow! In this class you’ll learn to make beautiful projects for quilting, sewing to clothing or bags or just for fun – it’s English Paper Piecing! This is a great class if you’re interested in learning a relaxing stitch craft and is fun for friends to take together. Many people find it addictive and go home to make many bigger pieces by joining together their smaller shapes.
In this beginner English Paper Piecing (EPP) class, we will learn how to use non-traditional methods to achieve great results with hand-sewing. Instructor Andrea Verley will show how to glue-baste fabric to paper pieces and then use a “flat back” stitch for a brilliant result with minimal stitch visibility.
We promise to provide you with a sanitized workspace and scissors; access to sinks for hand-washing; and hand sanitizing liquid at your work station.
All fabric supplies, paper pieces, glue, needles and thread will be supplied. If you have fabric stash you’d like to bring, feel free!
