Next Step Crochet – Level 2 Class
Thu January 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm| $20.00
This is the perfect follow-up class for people who have taken the Crochet Basics – Intro Class with instructor Anna Ruff but it is not required to enjoy this class. In this class, you’ll work with Anna to complete a project – a crochet headband with yarn you’ve chosen and bring to class – it can be one or more colors.
Everything covered in the first class will be used in this follow-up class: make a slip knot, create chain, single and double crochet stitches and fasten off your finished piece! Anna will also spend some time on how to read crochet patterns so you can find your next project with confidence.
Whether you are right- or left-handed, you will further your understanding of the basics of crochet and be ready to make memorable, personal gifts for family, friends (and yourself!).
This is a relaxed class of 60 – 90 minutes with everyone welcome to stay longer to work on their project.
Class size is limited to six students so the instructor has ability to work individually with each student.
We recommend that you bring these supplies with you – they are readily available at JOANN but we are also able to supply what you need:
Size 5.5 mm crochet hook
A large, blunt-end needle the yarn will fit through (so you can finish by threading the last yarn back into the fabric)
Yarn – check the label wrapped around the ball of yarn for the crochet hook symbol. It should indicate the yarn is appropriate for a hook sized 5.5 mm
