SPECIAL NOTE: We are sorry to announce that we will be rescheduling our much anticipated visit from the Yarnbyrds Yarn Truck and our knitting classes scheduled for Saturday, March 14th. We want to support community efforts to contain accidental spread of the COVID-19 virus in an effort to shorten its early spread so we can all get back to normal routines quicker!

We will be posting a new Yarnbyrds truck visit, rescheduled and additional, exciting knitting and crochet classes with Nancy and Nadine in just a few days. Please contact the shop if you have any questions – we are still open for business during regular hours and would love to see you. Our new ‘Hello’ is a quick tap of knitting needles! Shop phone: (740) 901-3041.

The Yarnbyrds truck carries the kind of yarn and related knitting goods we crave but often have to travel to find. Robin will be parked in the public lot right next to our building. Parking is open to the public on Saturdays in the Job & Family Services lot – plenty of spaces.

You’ll enter the truck to browse and buy – it’s a specially renovated, 31-foot RV complete with chandelier! Don’t forget to drop into the shop to say hello and relax with a stitch in our social circle through the day!

Inside our workshop, we’ll have Nadine Borovicka and Nancy Baur from the Athens Knitting Guild teaching a Beginners Knitting Class from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (reserve your seat now) and a knitted hat project for more experienced knitters from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (class reservations coming soon).

Come enjoy a day of yarn celebration and find treasures in your own backyard as we welcome The Yarnbyrds Truck!
